Dr Mishra is a double post-graduate in social & behavioral sciences and doctorate in culture studies. He has more than four decades of field experience in health and management research and communication. He served for more than twenty years in academic institutions and 6 years in Europe as a Senior Fellow of UNESCO. For more than a decade, he has led a number of civil society initiatives in training, research and evaluation in three continents, namely Asia, Africa and Europe. He has authored three books and published more than 60 research articles in national and international journals. Until 2009, he was teaching and training the post-graduate students in the Public Health Faculty in Jimma University, Ethiopia. Right now, he is directing and mentoring a number of Civil Society initiatives in South Asia.

She is a Development Economist with almost 10 years of experience in research on child survival and other development issues in India. Cross-cutting areas of her research include socioeconomic condition, gender, social class structure and access to service delivery. She has worked in projects funded by DFID, UNICEF, Terre des Hommes, Welthungerhilfe, and PACS. She published 8 scientific papers in international and 4 national publications and 5 working papers, besides several book chapters and popular articles.
